Set One
The Royals led the opening set 12-5 before the Seahawks went on a 6-0 run to bring them within a point, forcing a Warner timeout. After the timeout, the Royals regained momentum to push ahead to a 17-12 advantage before the Seahawks rallied to tie the set at 17. Following a 20-17 lead for KU, Warner took four of the next five points to even the score at 21. However, the Seahawks took the next three points to earn set point, but the Royals scrapped together two consecutive points to force Keiser to call a timeout leading 24-23. Following the stoppage, Abbie Seward sealed it with a kill, winning the set 25-23.

Set Two
The Seahawks carried over their momentum from the first set as they jumped out to an early 6-1 lead. Warner scrapped their way back into the set bringing the score to 8-6 in favor of the Seahawks, but Keiser dialed up a 6-1 run to jump ahead 14-7. The Royals then responded with a 7-3 spurt of their own to get within 17-14, and eventually tied the set at 22, forcing the Seahawks to call a timeout. Out of the timeout, the Royals claimed two of the next three points to lead 24-22, causing the Seahawks to use their final timeout. KU then answered by taking the next two points, tying the set at 24, forcing Warner to take a timeout. However, Warner went on to take the set, 27-25, evening the match at a set apiece.

Set Three
Warner controlled the third set leading by as many as eight points before the Seahawks rallied to tie it at 21, forcing Warner into a timeout. Keiser then stormed out of the break taking all four points to win the set 25-21, highlighted by three service aces by Lindsey Keegan.

Set Four
Warner held a slim 4-2 advantage before a Williams kill sparked a 5-0 run to take a 7-4 lead. The Royals closed to within 11-10, but again Williams's kill ignited a 4-0 spurt to push the margin to 15-10. The visitors got as close as 17-15 but Keiser went on to take the set, 25-19 and winning the match, 3-1.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Chris Taylor said, "Great win tonight! We are always talking about being the aggressor and playing with no fear, and we flat out did that tonight. Couldn't be happier with the performance that we showed against Warner. We want to congratulate Morgan on her record-breaking night, it is a very well deserved for all the hard work she has put in since she's been a freshman. While we are enjoying this, we are right back at it tomorrow against Southeastern in a tough TSC match. I look forward to seeing this team back at it again."

Up Next
The Seahawks remain at home over the weekend as they host Sun Conference foe Southeastern University tomorrow at 2:00 P.M. KU will honor their senior class prior to the start of the game.
