Highlights
The Seahawks volleyball team fell to Southeastern University 3-0 on senior day this afternoon. Keiser honored their five seniors prior to the match; Lindsey Keegan, Morgan Stuive, Samantha Thompson, Amanda Medlock, and Francis Espinoza. Thompson led the offense with 11 kills while Stuive had 15 assists. The defense was led by Leff with seven digs.  
 
Set One
Keiser took their lone lead of the set at 4-3 on an Eshe Malone kill before the Fire took over. Keiser cut the deficit to two on six different occasions but was unable to get any closer, falling 25-22.

Set Two
Keiser jumped out to a 4-1 lead before the Fire went on to tie the set at six-apiece. SEU then claimed their first lead of the set at 10-7 but a Thompson kill and a pair of Fire errors got KU to within 11-10. Southeastern responded by pushing their lead back out to 17-11 before an 8-3 spurt got the Seahawks to within one again at 20-19. However, Southeastern held off the Seahawks and took the set, 25-22.

Set Three
Despite Keegan tallying the first three points of the set, the Fire jumped out to a 12-5 advantage. Southeastern went on to control the set and take it by a final of 25-18 and the match 3-0.

Head Coach Chris Taylor said, "I couldn't have asked any of our group of seniors. All five have left their mark on this program that will be felt for many years. It's been an honor to coach and I know they will be successful after volleyball and college."
