Set One
After the Seahawks scored the first two points of the night, the Lions responded with five unanswered to claim a 5-2 advantage. Florida Memorial then maintained their lead, going up by as many four, before Keiser tied the set at 20-20. The Lions had the first set point opportunity at 24-23 but KU retied it at 24-apeice. Both teams then had a chance to win the set before a perfectly taken timeout by Keiser, trailing 26-25 led to a 3-0 run to claim the first set, 28-26.
Set Two
FMU tallied the first two points before the Seahawks used an 8-0 run to gain an 8-2 advantage. Keiser upped the margin to as many as eight, 12-4 and didn't allow the Lions any closer than 19-15. The Seahawks then closed the set on a 6-2 run, winning 25-17 and taking a 2-0 advantage in the match.
Set Three
Keiser jumped out to an early 7-2 advantage before stretching it to as many as eight, 13-5. Florida Memorial climbed to within 15-13 but the Seahawks answered with a 5-0 spurt, pushing their lead back out to 20-13. Keiser then held off FMU down the stretch, winning 25-23 and taking the match, 3-0.
