- Southeastern started the contest on fire, scoring the game's first seven points to take a 7-0 advantage through the first minute and a half.
- Keiser broke the run when Midori Long netted a bucket in the paint to cut the Southeastern lead to 7-2.
- Southeastern's Bailey Hooker and Keiser's Kaylee Patton traded three pointers to keep the Seahawks within five, 10-5, with 5:40 remaining in the quarter.
