The Fire were ahead 10-5 before Christin Strawbridge fueled the Southeastern run by scoring six points, extending the lead to 22-6 with 2:01 left to play in the opening quarter.
 
How it Happened

• Southeastern started the contest on fire, scoring the game's first seven points to take a 7-0 advantage through the first minute and a half.
• Keiser broke the run when Midori Long netted a bucket in the paint to cut the Southeastern lead to 7-2.
• Southeastern's Bailey Hooker and Keiser's Kaylee Patton traded three pointers to keep the Seahawks within five, 10-5, with 5:40 remaining in the quarter.
• Over the next 3:40, the Fire went on a 12-1 run to take the 22-6 advantage with 2:01 left in the first quarter.
• The Seahawks ended the quarter on an 8-3 run that was capped off by Miah Shephard's step-back triple to cut the Fire lead to 25-14.
• The Seahawks trimmed the deficit to eight points on the three different occasions in the second quarter, with the last one coming off of a Kaylee Patton free throw with 6:07 remaining to trim the deficit to 30-22.
