Amanda Blixt, Olivia White and Matilda Nilsson each scored this afternoon for the Keiser women's soccer squad as the Seahawks blanked No. 22 Reinhardt by the final score of 3-0 in Columbia, S.C.
 
Turning Point
The Seahawks raced ahead of the Eagles in the second half with a 3-0 spurt to defeat Reinhardt in Columbia, S.C. The chain of unanswered goals began with Amanda Blixt's fourth goal in two games. The sophomore midfielder backed up yesterday's hat trick with what was the game-winning goal in today's contest. Blixt's goal came off a perfect header after the cross from Kiera Heslam.
 
How it Happened
  • Keiser outlasted No. 22 Reinhardt, 3-0, netting all three goals in the second half.
  • Blixt's header was her fourth goal in two games after notching her first career hat trick in yesterday's 4-1 victory over Columbia.
  • Olivia White chipped in a goal of her own following a corner kick from Blixt.
  • Matilda Nilsson extended the Keiser lead to three after her first career goal, also assisted by Blixt.
  • Elsa Netz recorded her third shutout of the season in goal for the Seahawks.

Up Next
Keiser returns to play on Sept. 9 and 10 with Top 25 matchups against No. 6 William Cary and No. 5 University of Mobile. The Seahawks take on William Carey at 4:30 p.m. on the 9th and then Mobile at 7 p.m. on the 10th. Both contests will be played in Orange Beach, Ala., at the sight of the 2016 NAIA National Tournament.
