The #23 Seahawks baseball team fell to #RV St. Thomas 5-3 in game one of a three set on Friday afternoon. Keiser moved to 31-17 overall and 13-7 in Sun Conference play.
 

• St. Thomas jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the first before the Seahawks tied it in the second on a squeeze bunt by Miguel Casanueva.
• Keiser took their first lead in the third at 2-1 on a Keivan Berges single to left scoring Andrew Danner who led off with a single.
• In the fifth, Dylan Dore walked, Gabby Mundo reached on a bunt to third, and Berges singled through the left side to load the bases with nobody out. However, the Seahawks were unable to get a run across.
• Jack Curtis led off the eighth with a solo homer to left center upping the margin to 3-1. However, the Bobcats pushed four across in the ninth to take a 5-3 advantage.
• With two outs in the bottom half, Mundo singled to left, Berges was intentionally walked, and Brad Myott walked to load up the bases.  Unfortunately, Keiser was unable to score, falling 5-3.
• Steven Bruce went eight innings with six strikeouts and only allowing one walk while earning a no decision.
• Danner, Mundo, Berges, and Curtis had multi-hit games.

These same two teams will meet tomorrow in a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m.
