The RV Keiser University baseball team returned home after three weeks on the road and fell to 24 St. Thomas 8-3 in a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon. The Seahawks moved to 27-16 overall on the year.
 

• St. Thomas jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second on a pair of errors before the Seahawks threatened in the third.
• With two outs, Gabby Mundo singled through the left side and walks to Dylan Dore and Keivan Berges loaded the bases but Keiser was unable to get a run across.
• In the fourth, back to back singles by Carlos Lopez and Tyler Goff started the inning and an RBI double down the left field line by Jack Curtis got the Seahawks within 2-1. Gabby Mundo then singled to right but pinch runner Tim Smith was thrown out at home trying to score from second to keep St. Thomas in front 2-1.
• The Bobcats then scored a run in the fifth, one in the sixth, and four in the seventh to lead to 8-1.The Seahawks then attempted a rally in the bottom of the ninth.
• Mundo was hit by a pitch, Andrew Danner reached on an error and Berges walked to load up the bases with no outs.  An RBI single to right center by Brad Myott plated a run making it 8-2 and a second run scored on a double play getting within 8-3.
• Mundo, Curtis, and Goff had two hits apiece.
• Cort Miller started the game and went five innings with three strikeouts.

Keiser welcomes Thomas University on Friday for a Sun Conference doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. and game two coming 30 minutes after the ending.
