The #15 Keiser University baseball team defeated Spring Arbor 18-5 in a shortened game on Monday afternoon. The Seahawks improved to 16-5 overall on the year with the win.

• Spring Arbor jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on an RBI double down the left field line. However, the Seahawks tied it in the bottom half on a two run homer to left center by Keivan Berges.
• The Cougars grabbed the lead back at 3-2 in the second on an RBI groundout to the shortstop and extended it to 4-2 on a solo homerun to left field.
• In the fifth, a wild pitch cut the deficit to 4-3 and an RBI double to left center by Gabby Mundo knotted the game at 4-4. Keiser went ahead 7-4 on a Berges three run homer to left field.
• Spring Arbor plated a run in the sixth on a solo homer making it 7-5, before the Seahawks erupted for 11 runs in the sixth.
• A Chris Graffeo RBI single to first extended the advantage to 9-5 and a Berges RBI single through the left side upped it to 11-5.
• With one out, an RBI double down the left field line by Carlos Lopez moved the lead to 13-5. RBI walks to Jesus Fuenmayor and Mundo made it 15-5 and a balk upped it to 16-5. Dylan Dore capped the scoring with a two run double to left field winning 18-5.
• Mundo, Dore, and Berges had three hits apiece. Berges had seven runs batted in.
• Damian Boyum picked up the win going 1.1 innings with two strikeouts.

The Seahawks return to action tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. against Cumberland at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
