The #19 Keiser University baseball team fell to #24 St. Thomas 8-5 on Wednesday evening in a non-conference contest. The Seahawks moved to 24-11 overall on the year.
 

• Brad Myott and Carlos Lopez both singled to lead off the second and an RBI single to center by Jack Curtis put Keiser in front 1-0. After St. Thomas retired the next two batters, Jesus Fuenmayor singled in two runs pushing the lead to 3-0.
• The Bobcats plated two runs in the fourth getting to within 3-2 but the Seahawks got a run back in the sixth on a two out RBI double by Tyler Goff scoring  Lopez who walked making it 4-2. However, St. Thomas erupted with six runs in the seventh to take an 8-4 advantage.
• In the eighth, Lopez and Curtis singled to lead off and a fielder's choice by Goff put runners on the corners with one out. A Miguel Casanueva single pushed a runner across getting to within 8-5. The Seahawks then loaded the bases but St. Thomas got the strikeout to win the game 8-5.
• Lopez and Curtis led the way with two hits apiece.
• Luis Roman started the game and went three innings with one strikeout and only allowing a pair of hits. Damian Boyum suffered the loss moving to 4-2 on the year.

The Seahawks will look to bounce back on Friday when they travel to Ave Maria to begin a three game series. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
