The #15 Keiser University baseball team fell to South Carolina Beaufort 14-4 in seven innings on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks moved to 7-5 overall and 1-2 in Sun Conference play.

• Keiser got on the board in the first when Keivan Berges reached on an error by the third basemen and advanced to second on a Brad Myott single to center. Carlos Lopez platted Berges with a single to right center making it 1-0.
• The Sand Sharks responded with three runs in the second, two in the third, and six in the fourth for an 11-1 lead.
• Gabby Mundo led off the fifth with a double to center and scored on a Dylan Dore single to right center making it 11-2. After Dore stole second, he moved to third on a Berges single to right field. Myott then grounded into double play but Dore scored getting to within 11-3.
• South Carolina Beaufort answered with three runs in the bottom half pushing out to a 14-3 advantage.
• Dore started the seventh with a bunt and scored on a Berges double to right center making it 14-4. However, Keiser couldn't get any more runs across and the game was cut short due to mercy rule.
• Berges and Dore led the way with two hits apiece.
• Miguel Pena suffered the loss going three innings, striking out four.

The Seahawks return home on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference matchup against Ave Maria. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
