The #9 Keiser University men's basketball team stormed past Florida College 80-57 in a non-conference matchup on Monday evening. The Seahawks improved to 25-3 overall while only suffering one loss on the year out of conference.
How it Happened - Keiser jumped out to a 10-0 lead behind four points by Stanley Whittaker and Deion McClenton.
- Florida College cut the deficit to single digits at 14-7, when the Seahawks responded with a 15-3 run stretching their advantage to 29-10 with 3:40 remaining.
- The Seahawks were on top 33-15 at halftime, while limiting their opponents to just six field goals in the half.
- The Falcons got as close as 42-30 with 15:54 showing, but a McClenton basket started a 9-2 run pushing back out to a 51-32 advantage with 13:35 to go.
- Keiser continued cruising while using all 12 available players and winning by the final of 80-57.
