No. 23 Men's Basketball Raises Win Streak to Ten

KU HIGHLIGHTS
- Keiser shot 58.8 percent from the field during the first half of play.
- Five Seahawks had double digit scoring led by a game high 20 from Stanley Whittaker.
- Whittaker (20 pts, 12 reb) and Deion McClenton (14 pts, 14 reb.) had double-doubles.

TURNING POINT
The Seahawks got off to a slow start in the contest and trailed 18-11 when a Chris Lee basket started a huge 16-0 run that put the home team in front 27-18 with 6:55 to go in the first half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Canada jumped out to an early 12-3 advantage forcing Keiser into a timeout at the 15:55 mark.
- Following the stoppage, Zecevic scored four of the next six points getting the Seahawks to within 12-9.
- The Stingers responded with a 6-2 run that upped the lead to 18-11 but a Chris Lee layup off a steal started a 16-0 spurt to go in front 27-18 with 6:55 remaining in the half. During the stretch, Sarenac had five points while Lee and Whittaker had four apiece.
- Concordia got as close as 34-28 at the 3:49 mark but Keiser outscored them 13-4 during the remainder of the half to lead 47-32.
- The visitors climbed to within 49-36 with 18:21 showing when a Zecevic layup began a 9-2 run pushing the margin to 58-38 at the 14:33 mark.
- With the score 64-44 a basket by Jenkins and three points from Whittaker gave the Seahawks their largest lead of the game at 69-44 with 6:39 left in the contest.
- Concordia wouldn't go away quietly as they used an 11-0 run to get within 69-55 with 2:29 left in regulation.
- Whittaker pulled down a rebound and threw the ball the length of the court to a wide open McClenton who dunked the ball to stop the run.
- The Seahawks then closed out the contest on a 10-0 run to win the game by a final of 79-55 improving their winning streak to ten.
