TURNING POINT
The turning point occurred when the game was tied at 6-6 and a Seahawks 8-0 run gave Keiser the lead for good at 14-6 with 14:23 remaining in the first half. Brice Jenkins scored five of the eight points during that span.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Xavier scored the opening bucket before a Sarenac jumper and huge breakaway dunk by Deion McClenton forced the Gold Rush into a quick timeout down 4-2.
- Following the timeout, Xavier knotted the game at 6-6 but a Jenkins jumper sparked an 8-0 run to regain a 14-6 advantage with 14:23 showing.
- The Gold Rush climbed to within 22-17 when a McClenton alley-oop started a 7-2 spurt upping the margin to 29-19 at the 6:43 mark.
- With the score 35-27, a Tyrus Weaver three pointer from the corner began a 14-2 run to close the half with the Seahawks in front 49-29. During the stretch, Keiser connected on four baskets from beyond the arc.
- Both teams traded baskets in the new frame before a Stefan Zecevic dunk sprung an 8-2 push extending the advantage to 61-35 with 16:45 left in regulation.
- At the 10:18 mark of the second half, Trystan Pratapas connected on a three for his first collegiate basket giving Keiser a 73-49 advantage.
- Xavier outscored the Seahawks 16-8 down the stretch but David Takam hit a fade away jumper at the buzzer winning by a final of 81-65.
