The Seahawks would cut the deficit no closer than four points as the Pride used the run to claim the victory.

• Darien Thompson scored five of the game's first seven points as Purdue Northwest claimed an early 7-0 lead through the first two minutes of play.
• Cole got Keiser on the board with back-to-back baskets to pull the Seahawks to within three with 6:37 remaining in the opening quarter.
• The Seahawks would not trim further into the deficit for the remainder of the quarter as the Pride capped off a 14-7 run to conclude the first quarter, taking the 21-11 advantage.
• The Purdue Northwest lead was extended to 12 with 5:01 remaining in the first half, leading 25-13.
• The Seahawks would not go down quietly, finishing the half on a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to five before the intermission.
• Four different players would chip in to the 7-0 Keiser run to conclude the first half.
