Following a Princess Cole jumper that put Keiser ahead by two, Alex Matus of Wayne State drained a triple that sparked a 13-0 run to take the 21-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors would not relinquish the lead for the remainder of the game.
 
How it Happened

• Wayne State jumped out to a 4-0 run in the first 1:34 of the game following back-to-back layups by Christina Green.
• The Seahawks responded with an 8-0 run of their own to take an 8-4 lead with 5:31 left in the opening quarter.
• The Warriors tied the contest at 8-8, before Cole buried a jumper to give the Seahawks their final lead of the game.
• Wayne State closed the quarter on a 13-0 run to take the 21-10 advantage heading into the second quarter.
• Keiser trimmed the lead to as close as seven following a Patton three pointer with 8:16 remaining in the second quarter.
• The remaining of the quarter belonged to the Warriors, extending their lead to as much as 16 points before halftime.
• Wayne State outscored Keiser by six points in the third quarter, stretching the lead to 21 before taking the 60-40 advantage heading into the final frame.
• The Warriors would stretch their lead to 24 points in the final quarter but it would be Keiser who claimed the fourth quarter, outscoring Wayne State by two.
