Turning Point
The turning point in today's contest came during the final 3:30 of the first quarter. Keiser was trailing Warner, 9-7, before a Hannah Del Negro triple sparked a 15-1 run to conclude the quarter with a 22-10 advantage in favor of the Seahawks.
 
How it Happened

• The two squads began the game with three lead changes and three ties during the first 14 points as the Seahawks and Royals were knotted at seven apiece.
• After a pair of free throws by Kaley Schmick provided Warner with the two point lead, Del Negro splashed home a three to give Keiser the 10-9 advantage, a lead that the Seahawks would not yield.
• The triple by Del Negro sparked a 15-1 run over the final 3:27 of the opening quarter to provide the Seahawks with a comfortable 22-10 lead.
• Warner closed the gap to three points midway through the second quarter as the Royals raced out to an 11-2 run to open the second frame.
• Five unanswered points by Midori Long stretched the Keiser lead back to eight with 3:27 remaining in the first half.
• Warner's Schmick trimmed the gap to five points before Patton buried three triples in a row to conclude the half on a 9-2 run to give Keiser the 38-26 lead at the break.
• The third quarter was all Keiser as the Seahawks stretched their lead to a game-high 21 points following a jumper by Kelsi Ash.
• The Royals slowly chipped away at the deficit, cutting the Keiser lead to just five with 1:41 remaining in the contest.
• Back-to-back threes by Del Negro stretched the Seahawk lead back to 11 as Del Negro scored Keiser's final eight points of the game to provide the team with the comfortable 61-50 victory.
