How it Happened
- The two squads began the game with three lead changes and three ties during the first 14 points as the Seahawks and Royals were knotted at seven apiece.
- After a pair of free throws by Kaley Schmick provided Warner with the two point lead, Del Negro splashed home a three to give Keiser the 10-9 advantage, a lead that the Seahawks would not yield.
- The triple by Del Negro sparked a 15-1 run over the final 3:27 of the opening quarter to provide the Seahawks with a comfortable 22-10 lead.
- Warner closed the gap to three points midway through the second quarter as the Royals raced out to an 11-2 run to open the second frame.
- Five unanswered points by Midori Long stretched the Keiser lead back to eight with 3:27 remaining in the first half.
- Warner's Schmick trimmed the gap to five points before Patton buried three triples in a row to conclude the half on a 9-2 run to give Keiser the 38-26 lead at the break.
