- The Seahawks were held scoreless for the first seven minutes of the third quarter, surrendering just four points to the Tigers, until a Patton three pulled Keiser to within five.
- Edward Waters ended the quarter on a 4-3 run to claim the third frame, 8-6, taking the 35-29 lead into the final quarter.
