Turning Point
The turning point in today's contest came in the final six minutes of the contest. With 5:49, Keiser was trailing the host Trojans by the score of 40-39. The Seahawks jumped out to a 13-6 run to finish the contest and defeat Trinity International, 52-46. Kaylee Patton and Claudia Reque combined for eight of Keiser's final 13 points.
 
How it Happened

• Keiser raced to a 10-2 through the first five minutes that was capped off by a Princess Cole jump shot.
• The Trojans trimmed the deficit to as little as three but the Seahawks closed the first quarter with a 16-11 advantage.
• The Seahawks held the Trojans at bay during the second quarter, never relinquishing the lead despite having the advantage trimmed to just one late in the second frame.
• Back-to-back triples by Rayelle Ross and Arielle Miree provided Trinity International with its first lead since leading 2-0 to begin the contest.
• The Trojans finished the quarter leading by as much as six until Patton netted consecutive free throws to pull within four to close the third quarter.
• Keiser trailed Trinity International through the first three minutes of the final quarter before tying the contest at 39-39 with 6:59 remaining to play.
• The Seahawks outscored the Trojans, 13-7, over the final 6:59 to defeat the host squad, led by five of Patton's game-high 17 points.
