How it Happened
Set One:
The Seahawks cruised to a nine-point first set victory to take the early 1-0 lead. The two squads were knotted at seven apiece until Keiser scored four unanswered points to take the 11-7 lead for good. The Gyrenes cut the deficit to 17-14 but the Seahawks held Ave Maria at bay, scoring six unanswered points to take the 23-14 lead. The two squads traded the final four points to solidify the 25-16 victory.

Set Two:
Ave Maria jumped out to the early 8-4 lead to begin the second set, but could not hold the Keiser offense in check. The Seahawks rallied to take the 12-11 advantage over the host Gyrenes. However, Ave Maria took a 16-15 lead midway through the set before Keiser tied the score at 18-18. The Seahawks scored the next four points, all but clinching the second set as Keiser claimed the 22-18 advantage. The two squads scored three points apiece over the final six points to cap off the 25-21 Keiser win in the second set.

Set Three:
The Seahawks completed the sweep in the third set, besting Ave Maria by the final score of 25-22. The two squads battled neck-and-neck with neither team able to break away. Late in the set, Ave Maria held on to a 22-19 advantage, hoping to force a fourth set. However, the Keiser offense landed home four kills in the final six points to give the Seahawks the 25-22 victory.
