Keiser volleyball cruised to a fifth consecutive sweep, this time sweeping Trinity Baptist by the final score of 3-0 on Tuesday evening at the Student Life Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. With the win, Keiser improves to 17-4 on the season, including 11-0 at home. Keiser finished the contest with a season-best hitting percentage of .558 and a season-high 23 service aces. Â

How it Happened
Set One:
The Seahawks dominated in the opening set of Tuesday's match, cruising to a 25-5 victory. Keiser notched the game's first two points before surrendering one to the Eagles. The Seahawks then outscored Trinity Baptist 6-1 to take an 8-2 advantage through the first 10 points. Keiser did not look back, scoring 10 unanswered points to take a 16-point advantage, 18-2. The Seahawks closed the door on the Eagles, scoring seven of the final 10 points to claim the first set in dominating fashion. The Seahawks posted a .750 hitting percentage for the first set, holding Trinity Baptist to -0.833.

Set Two:
The Eagles notched the first point of the second set and then it would all go downhill from there as the Seahawks won the second set, 25-13. Keiser outscored the Eagles 7-3 through the set's first 10 points en route to the convincing victory. Keiser stretched the lead to double digits for the first time when the score was 15-5. The Eagles trimmed the lead to seven on two different occasions but could not cut the deficit any further as Keiser slammed the door shut on Trinity Baptist over the remainder of the set. The Seahawks held the Eagles to .455 hitting percentage in the second set, recording a percentage of .778 of their own.

Set Three:
The final set began much like the second with the Eagles recording the first point of the set. Once again the Seahawks buried Trinity Baptist early in the set, notching nine unanswered points to take the 9-1 advantage. The Seahawks opened up the double-digit lead when Keiser took the 13-3 advantage midway through the set. Keiser kept its foot on the pedal, downing the Eagles in the final set by the score of 25-12.
