The #22 Keiser University men's basketball team won their second straight tournament with a 79-74 win over Florida National in the English Family Classic. The Seahawks improved to 14-1 overall on the year.
 
How it Happened

• Brice Jenkins and Stefan Zecevic hit back to back three pointers to start the game before pushing their lead to 10-8. Zecevic then hit a jumper sparking a 7-2 run capped by a Deion McClenton dunk upping their advantage to 17-10 with 10:28 remaining.
• Florida National took their first lead of the game at 30-29 with 12 seconds left, but a pair of free throws by Ebenezer Adekunle and a jumper by Andrija Sarenac put Keiser in front 33-30 at the break.
• At the 16:06 mark after trading baskets, the Conquistadors led 42-41, when Sarenac hit a three pointer to start an 8-2 run to regain a 49-44 advantage with 14:24 showing.
• Florida National closed to within 51-49, when a Stanley Whittaker three pointer began a 7-0 run to take their largest lead of the game of 58-49 midway through the second.
• The Conquistadors kept chipping away getting to within 71-69 with 1:30 remaining but Keiser held them off coming away with the 79-74 victory. ,

Inside the Box
McClenton led the way with a triple-double with game highs in scoring (19), blocks (10), and 11 rebounds.

Whittaker finished with a double-double consisting of ten points and 11 rebounds, while Zecevic also had a double-double with 16 points and a game high 14 rebounds.
 
Sarenac and Weaver also reach double digits with 16 and ten points respectfully.
