The Seahawks women's basketball team used three point shooting to defeat Johnson & Wales 77-56 on Thursday evening in Sun Conference play. Keiser improves to 13-10 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
How it Happened - Johnson & Wales jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Keiser responded with a 7-0 run to gain a 7-4 lead with 5:54 to go in the first.
- After the game was tied at 9-9, the Seahawks held the Wildcats without a field goal for ten minutes while outscoring them 23-3 extending their advantage to 32-15 with four minutes left in the second.
- Keiser went on to take a 45-20 lead into halftime, while connecting on nine three pointers in the half.
- The Seahawks used a 7-0 run in the third quarter to take their largest lead of the game at 62-30 before coasting through the fourth quarter for the 77-56 win.
