The #10 Seahawks men's basketball team used a strong first half to defeat Florida Memorial 57-46 on Thursday evening. Keiser remains unbeaten in Sun Conference play while improving to 6-0 and moving to 18-1 overall.
How it Happened- With the game tied at 7-7, Stanley Whittaker connected on a jumper to start a 10-0 run capped by a Brice Jenkins layup to retake a 17-7 lead with 11:21 to go in the first half.
- Florida Memorial didn't reach double digits until the 10 minute mark of the first half at 17-11.
- A Deion McClenton dunk then sparked a 13-3 run to take their largest lead of the game of 30-14 and was ahead 30-16 at halftime.
- The Lions kept chipping away in the second half getting to as close as 49-43 with 3:55 remaining but Keiser answered back with a 7-3 end the game, winning 57-46.
