The Keiser University volleyball team eased past Florida National 3-0 on Tuesday evening. The Seahawks improve to 12-3 overall on the season.
Set OneTrailing 2-1, a hitting error started a 6-1 runs capped by a Gida Victor kill giving Keiser an 8-2 lead. Leading 11-6, a
Chantelle Zamora kill started a 14-1 run capped by a
Nicole Papineau ace winning 25-7.
Set TwoKeiser jumped out to a 4-1 lead but Florida National closed to within 5-4. Florida National kept the set within two until the Seahawks used a 4-0 run pushing out to a 23-18 lead. Keiser went on to win 25-22.
Set ThreeWith the scored tied 4-4,
Morgan Stuive served the next ten points giving Keiser a 14-4 advantage. The Conquestadors got to within 15-8, when a Victor kill began a 4-0 run capped by a
Nikki McKown kill to lead 19-8. Keiser continued cruising going on to win 25-16.
Offense/DefenseZamora led the way with eight kills, while Papineau had four service aces and 25 assists.

Coming UpThe Seahawks return home on Friday to kick off Sun Conference play against Warner University. The match is set for 7:00 p.m.
