The #3 women's soccer team suffered their first loss on the year to #10 Mobile 2-1 in overtime on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks move to 1-1 overall on the young season with the defeat.
The Rams broke though in the fifth minute, but the Seahawks tied the game five minutes later.
Linnea Lindmark played a 25 yard free kick into the box that found the head of
Olivia White making it 1-1.
Johanna Engberg had a chance to put Keiser in front during the first half but her shot went off the cross bar remaining 1-1 heading into the break.
Both teams played to a scoreless second half, but Mobile scored the game winner just three minutes into the first overtime period winning 2-1.
The Seahawks outshot their opponents 13-6 and 6-3 in shots on goal. Engberg had a game high five shots and two on frame, while
Sara Lundberg and White had two shots apiece.
