The Keiser University women's soccer team won a lightning shortened game vs Hastings College 4-0 Friday afternoon. The game which started at 11am was delayed by lightning and rain shortly after the halftime whistle, and resumed almost two hours later with Keiser holding a 3-0 lead over the Broncos.
The scoring began at the 23:53 mark when
Elin Olsson slotted home a shot past the keeper on an assist by
Louise Andersson. The Seahawks struck again in the 40
th minute on a corner kick off the foot of
Amanda Blixt that found the head of
Olivia White for her third goal of the season to lead 2-0.
Right before halftime Keiser struck again in the 43rd minute when
Sara Lundberg beat the keeper on a cross from
Johanna Engberg making it 3-0 at half.
The Seahawks scored the final goal just before the game was called 81
st minute mark when
Sara Lundberg notched her second goal of the game this time scoring far post on a cross from
Stephanie Morini winning 4-0.
Keiser outshot Hasting 13-4 which included 11 shots just in the first half. Eight of of those shots were on target. Lundberg led the way with three, while four different Seahawks had two shots a piece.
Felicia Sedell made 2 saves between the posts in the shutout victory.

Keiser stays at home and is set to take on Georgia Gwinnett College tomorrow at 10 am. Â
