The Northwood women's tennis team dropped a hard fought 5-3 decision to NCAA Division 2 #10 Nova Southeastern at home on Sunday afternoon.

The Seahawks won the lone doubles match in the number two slot with Mathilde Thibaudat and Rocia Merlo winning 9-7. Thibaudat and Merlo were also the lone winners in singles as well with Mathilde winning 6-3, 6-4 and Rocia 6-1, 6-3. Lola Garcia iin the six spot played a very entertaining match that did not finish with scores of 4-6, 6-5, and the third set ended tied at 15-15.

Northwood falls to 6-4 overall on the year. The Seahawks return to action on Saturday welcoming Sun Conference opponent Southeastern for a 12:00 p.m. match.
