The Northwood women's tennis fell to NCAA Division 2 opponent Lynn University 9-0 on Friday afternoon. The Seahawks fall to 1-2 overall on the season.

In number one doubles, Adelaide Wood and Valentina Souki hung close before falling 8-6. Matilde Thibadult played a close third single losing the first set 6-4 and the second 6-2. Rocia Merlo also had a close first set at 6-4 but dropped the second 6-1. Rounding out singles, Livia Toth hung in for an 8-5 defecit in the four spot.

The Seahawks return to the court at home on Saturday, February 14 when they kick off Sun Conference play against SCAD. The match is set for 12:00 p.m. at Gaines Park.
