The Seahawks women's basketball team fell to Florida Memorial 80-61 in Sun Conference play on Thursday night. Northwood's record goes to 4-19 overall and 3-11 in Sun Conference contests.

Florida Memorial led 37-28 at the half before outscoring the Seahawks 43-33 in the second half going on the 80-61 win.

Lakeisha Blanson led the way on the night with 17 points, while Emily May had 12. Dana Gildea had a team high ten rebouns, while Kiera Duncanson had three steals.

Northwood returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Webber International. The game is set t o begin at 2:00 p.m.
