The Seahawks women's basketball team fell to Voorhees 43-41 on Saturday afternoon on the road. Keiser University moves to 5-5 overall on the year.
Voorhees jumped out to a 16-10 lead after the first quarter before Keiser came back to take a 24-22 advantage into the break. The Tigers regained the lead at 36-33 and held on for the 43-41 victory.
Dominique Winbush led the way with a game high 12 points, while
Courtney Murphy had ten points. Winbush pulled down 14 rebounds, while
Miah Shephard had ten.
Keiser returns home on Saturday, December 19th at 1:00 p.m. against Dickinson State University.
