The Keiser University women's basketball team fell 90-83 in overtime to Bryan College on Wednesday evening. The Seahawks dropped to 0-2 overall on the young season.
Courtney Murphy led the way on the night with 34 points on 12-21 shooting while going 10-16 from beyond the arc.
Desirai Smith chipped in 12 points, while
Claudia Reque had 11.
Dominique Winbush pulled down a team high nine rebounds and had five assists.
Head Coach
Pam Oswald said, "Tonight we had different people step up for us that put us in a position to have a chance to win. We continue to show signs of that team that doesn't go away quietly & are going to keep chipping away. Our kids are playing hard & we just need to keep working at being more efficient."
The Seahawks will make a quick turnaround facing Tennessee Wesleyan tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m.
