The Keiser volleyball team fell to St. Thomas University in four sets on Friday evening in a Sun Conference matchup. The Seahawks fought off the sweep by pulling out a win in the third set but the Bobcats rebounded in the fourth.
What OccurredAfter being swept in their three previous matches this season, Keiser was looking to take down St. Thomas while trying to hold onto their fourth spot in the standings. The Bobcats took the first two sets by scores of 25-20 and 25-16.
The Seahawks trailed 4-2 in the third when they used a 6-1 run taking an 8-5 lead. After St. Thomas retook a 12-10 lead, Keiser went on an 8-1 run going in front 18-13 and went on to win 25-20. However, St. Thomas responded in the fourth set winning 25-20.

Chantelle Zamora each had 11 kills and two service aces.

Nicole Papineau ended with a match high 38 assists.
--The Seahawks were led on defense by
Gida Victor and McKown two kills and
Ashley Marvel 17 digs.
--Keiser is now 19-10 overall on the year and 4-5 in Sun Conference play.
Up NextKeiser will play their final road match of the regular season at Florida Memorial tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. The match will take place at the Joe Celestin Center.
