The Northwood University men's basketball team won their fourth straight with a 94-65 win over Johnson & Wales on Saturday afternoon. The Seahawks shot 11 of 12 from behind the arc to help lead them to their victory.
Johnson & Wales held an early 14-9 lead, before the Seahawks went on an 8-0 run taking a 17-14 lead with 11:51 remaining in the first half. Over the next six minutes, Northwood outscored the Wildcats 12-3 pushing their lead out to 29-17 with 5:43 showing. The Seahawks would go on to take a 40-29 lead into the break.
Both teams traded baskets over the first ten minutes of the second half, before The Seahawks used a 10-2 run to take control of the game at 70-56. Northwood would continue to cruise before ending the game on a 14-5 run winning the game 95-65.
Fred Mattison led the way with 23 points and five rebounds. Malte Ziegenhagen was close behind with 15 points while Chris Solomon and Andrija Sarenac had 11 apiece. Ian Umpierre had a team best five assists.

Northwood with the win, improves to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the Sun Conference.Â
The Seahawks return to the court on Friday at home when they welcome Apprentice School to kick off the English Family Classic. The tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.Â
