WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The 14th ranked Northwood University (Fla.) women's soccer team won their tenth consecutive game as they defeated Ave Maria 4-0 on Senior Day in the regular season finale on Saturday.
The Lady Seahawks remained undefeated in the Sun Conference this season and extended their conference win streak to 46 straight games.
The Lady Seahawks closed the regular season at 12-4-2 overall and 9-0 in the Sun Conference.
Johanna Engberg scored three goals to lead the squad and Louise Andersson had three assists.
Senior Grace Wilkinson scored a goal in the second half to cap the scoring.
Senior Stinne Laursen had an assist in the first half on Engberg's goal.
The Lady Seahawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half and pulled away in the second half.
The Lady Seahawks had 25 shots and 12 shots on goal.
Senior Matilda Hjalte had the shutout in net.
After the game, the Lady Seahawks seniors were recognized on the field.
The Lady Seahawks had eight seniors, including Wilkinson, Laursen, Hjalte, Hanna Lindstrom, Amy Vaughan, Amber Brooks, Kaitlyn Duke, and Erin Wells.
