Quick Glimpse

• Enters her second year as a Graduate Assistant coach of the Seahawks volleyball team
• Helped Keiser to a 29-10 overall record and 13-3 mark in Sun Conference matches
• The 29 wins in 2019 were the most in program history
• Aided in the Seahawks winning their first-ever Sun Conference Regular Season Championship

Playing Career
Castro was a member of the volleyball team at Garden City Community College during her freshman and sophomore year, playing primarily as a libero. During that time, she ranked third in the conference for digs and service aces. In her final season, she was named the Defensive player of the Year.

Castro's junior and senior year were spent at Division II Chowan University. In that time she earned All-Conference honors as an outside hitter and helped the team earn two Northern Division Championships.

Personal
Castro graduated from Chowan University in May 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation & Wellness and Sport with a minor in Coaching. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree from Keiser University in Organizational Leadership.
