Burgess' Bio

• Enters his third year as an Assistant Coach of the Keiser University women’s soccer team
• Helped Keiser claim their first-ever NAIA National Championship in 2019
• Part of the 2019 NAIA National Staff of the Year
• In his two seasons, Keiser is 44-4-2 overall and 19-0-1 in conference matches
• Part of two Sun Conference Regular Season Championships and two Tournament Championships
• In 2018, the Seahawks advanced to the championship game, falling to William Carey, 1-0
• Aided in two Sun Conference Freshman of the Year winners
• Aided in 18 All-Conference players and 13 NAIA All-Americans

 
Pre-Keiser
Burgess currently serves as the Technical Director of the Palm Beach Predators Soccer Club, where he has been since 2016. Prior to that, he coached club soccer for FC Florida, Delray Beach Athletic, and Renegades.

Burgess was the Head Coach at American Heritage for 12 seasons, guiding the squad to nine consecutive State finals, and six State titles. For his efforts, he was a three-time NSCAA State Coach of the Year and the 2012 NSCAA National Coach of the Year.
