Pre-Keiser
Adams joined Keiser after 13 seasons at Campbellsville University, where he spent six years as the head coach of the women's soccer program. In addition to his role with the women's team, he also assisted with the men's program, helping both teams achieve their highest national ranking in school history.

During his tenure as head coach, Adams led the women's team to its first Mid-South Conference Championship in 2022 and four NAIA National Tournament appearances. Under his leadership, the Tigers produced three NAIA All-Americans, 29 all-conference selections, and the 2023 Mid-South Conference Player of the Year.

Adams was named Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year in 2021 and earned NCCAA Mideast Region Coach of the Year honors for six consecutive seasons (2019–2024). Over his six-year head coaching tenure, the Tigers posted a 71-33-7 record.

As a player, Adams was a three-time Mid-South Conference Second Team All-Conference selection. In his senior season (2010), he led Campbellsville to a 19-6 record and a fifth-place national finish in the NCCAA. That same year, he was honored as the Mid-South Conference Champion of Character. He was also a three-time MSC Academic All-Conference honoree (2008–2010) and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2010.
