Pam Oswald is entering her 10th season as the Head Women’s Basketball coach at Keiser University.

2019-20
  • Ended the year with 14 victories for the second straight season
  • Finished tied for fifth in the conference standings with eight wins
  • Coached two All-Conference players including one on the First Team
  • Had two players earn Academic All-Conference recognition and NAIA Scholar Athlete honors
  • Had her first four-year player at Keiser score her 1,000th career in Midori Long
  • Long became the all-time leader in points (1263), and rebounds (919)

2018-19
  • Finished the season with 14 wins including a win over the fourth-ranked team in the NAIA, Marian
  • Led two All-Conference players including one on the First Team
  • Off the court, one player was named a Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Conference
  • The Seahawks finished eighth in the NAIA for free throw percentage, 76.6 percentage
  • Long was tenth in the country for offensive rebounds per game, 3.83

2017-18
  • Completed the campaign with seven victories including four against TSC opponents
  • Coached two TSC Second Team All-Conference winners
  • Aided in one player being named to the TSC Academic All-Conference squad

2016-17
  • Took home TSC Coach of the Year for the first time in her coaching career
  • Won 19 games, ranking fourth most in a single season in program history
  • Coached two TSC All-Conference members, in addition to one TSC All-Defensive member and the TSC Newcomer of the Year
  • Keiser pulled down a program-record 1315 total rebounds on the year, including a program-best 482 offensive rebounds
  • Under Oswald’s guidance, Keiser finished the season with 43.8 boards per game, breaking the previous school record of 41.4 set in 2006-07
  • The Seahawks collected 108 total blocks on the season, shattering the previous record of 79 set in 2012-13
  • Keiser ranked 4th in the NAIA DII for 3-pt field goal percentage (.266) and 5th for field goal percentage defense (.351)
  • The Seahawks also ranked inside the Top 10 in three rebounding categories including total rebound margin (7th), total rebounds per game (8th) and offensive rebounds per game (9th)
  • Keiser defeated defending NAIA National Champion, Marian, on Dec. 17 by the final score of 58-53
  • On Jan. 10, Keiser received votes for the NAIA national rankings for the first time in program history
 
2015-16
  • Finished the season with 14 wins including four wins over NAIA Top 25 opponents
  • Coached one TSC First Team All-Conference winner in Courtney Murphy, in addition to one TSC All-Defensive Team member in Miah Shephard
  • Buried 208 triples during the year, ranking third most in a single season in program history
  • Courtney Murphy finished third in triples made per game with 3.75
  • The Seahawks recorded a .339 three-point percentage which ranks second in a single season in program history
  • Held opponents to 57.43 points per game, ranking 7th in NAIA Division II

 
Pre-Keiser
Prior to her arrival at Keiser, Oswald spent eight seasons as the Head Coach at NCAA DII Tiffin University, three seasons as an Assistant Coach at Wheeling Jesuit University and three seasons as an Assistant Coach at NCAA DI Kent State. During Oswald's tenure, she has coached a total of 12 All-Conference players, seven players have eclipsed 1,000 career points and one player has recorded 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Oswald has also captured one conference regular season title and tournament title and also boasts a 100% graduation rate. Oswald began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Berlin-Hiland High School for two years.
 
Playing Career
Oswald was a member of the Malone University basketball team and later inducted into the Malone Athletic Hall of Fame. Oswald still holds the Malone record for most rebounds in a game (23 vs. Kenyon College 11/19/94). She is also second in all-time career rebounding with 1,127 rebounds and is only one of two Malone women’s athletes to average 10 rebounds per game for her career. Oswald also ranks fifth on Malone’s all-time scoring list with 1,681 points and second in blocks with 162. In addition, she earned numerous awards during her career, including NCCAA All East District Player of the Year and NCCAA All-American honors in 1993-94. As a senior in 1995, she was named to the All Mid-Ohio Conference Second Team and the NCCAA All-East District First Team.
 
Personal
She graduated from Malone University with a bachelor’s in Communications/Broadcast. Oswald is also a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
