  • Entering his first year with the Seahawks as assistant coach

Prior to coming to Keiser, Bell was an assistant coach at Arkansas-Pine Bluff for four seasons. During his time there, the Lady Lions set the school record for overall wins (2023-24), had five student-athletes receive All-SWAC Conference honors. Among them were Zaay Green (2021-22) and Khadijah Brown (2020-21), who both were named SWAC Newcomer of the Year.
 
Before his arrival at UAPB, he served as the assistant women's basketball coach at Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma. During his two-year tenure at Connors State College, Bell assisted in recruiting, fundraising, and organizing team basketball camps. Furthermore, he oversaw the team's academics which produced GPAs of 3.0 and higher, with six team members recognized as NJCAA Academic All-Americans. 

During his last two years as an undergraduate at Texas Southern University, Bell assisted the women's basketball team in the capacity of team manager, handling film exchange and all managerial duties. In the 2016-2017 season, the TSU Lady Tigers won the South Western Athletic Conference Championship and earned an invitation to the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, the first in Texas Southern women's basketball history. 

After experiencing much success that season, Bell was then promoted to student assistant, where he was tasked with additional duties that included overseeing student managers, game film exchange, and assisting the director of basketball operations on special projects and assignments.

Personal
Bell graduated from Texas Southern University in 2018 with degrees in sports management. He earned his master's in secondary education/physical education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in 2022.
