- Aided to Calvin Sirmans earning Sun Conference Freshman of the Year honors
- Has a 22-23 overall record in his two seasons as head coach of the developmental team

Prior to Keiser
Gerdine joins the coaching staff after two seasons with the Azusa Pacific Cougars. Prior to joining the Azusa Pacific coaching staff, Gerdine spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Antelope Valley, an NAIA and California Pacific Conference member. In both seasons he spent with the Pioneers, the program won the conference, and made a national tournament appearance. Gerdine was tasked with scouting opponents, film breakdown, recruiting, and skill development. He also served as the head coach of the JV team.
Not only does Gerdine have a collegiate basketball coaching pedigree, but he also coached football at the University of La Verne from 2016 to 2018. He served as the running backs coach for the Leos, and also spent a significant amount of time in scouting opponents, film breakdown, and recruiting.
In addition to his collegiate experience, he also spent three seasons at Ruben S. Ayala High School as an assistant varsity coach and head JV coach, and two seasons at Western Christian High School, where he was the interim head coach of the varsity program.
Gerdine has also gained significant experience in player development, running his own skill training business for 10 years.
Prior to coaching, Gerdine played collegiate basketball at Mount San Antonio College and Chapman University, earning an Associate of Arts and Associate of Science in 2007, before going on to earn his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University in 2011.
