Prior to Keiser
Jackson comes to West Palm Beach after serving as the assistant coach at Coastal Alabama North CC in Monroeville, Alabama, for the 2022-23 season. During his time at Coastal, Jackson assisted in helping the Eagles reach an overall record of 23-8 and an Alabama Community College Conference Regular Season Championship. His duties for the Eagles included recruiting, player development, strength and conditioning, game planning, scouting, and academic coordinating. Some of players coached included Jackson Kennedy being named Second Team All Region 22, First-Team All-South Conference, and went on to play at Bethune-Cookman. Additionally, Seth Jones was selected to Second-Team All-South Conference and Fab 50 JUCO Freshman List.
Prior to Coastal, Jackson served as an interim head coach at Macomb during the 2020-21 season and as an assistant coach at Macomb for the 2019-20 season. During his time at Macomb, Jackson helped guide the Monarchs to a 19-10 record overall in the MCCA Conference, coached six MCCAA All-Conference players, one all-region, and one All-MCCA player. Some individual standouts for Macomb in the 2019-2020 season included Amier Gilmore being named to the MCCAA First Team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-MCCAA. Justin Schutz was selected to the Second Team All-Conference. Ron Hill and Dequan Powell were named to the MCCAA All-Defensive team. Alante Coward and Djuan Seal both earned MCCAA honorable mention honors.
Before joining the Monarch program, Jackson spent five seasons on the coaching staff at Bethune-Cookman University with his final two campaigns serving as the Wildcats graduate assistant. During his time at Bethune-Cookman, Jackson's core responsibilities included film breakdown, scouting, and player development.
While engaging the sidelines for the Wildcats, Jackson contributed to the development of young players. Brandon Tabb was named MEAC Player of the Year, while Soufiyane Diakite took home the conference Defensive Player of the Year award. In addition, Shawntrez Davis, Isaiah Bailey earned All-MEAC honors. In 2017-18 Jackson helped the Wildcats earn a share of the MEAC Regular Season Championship for the second time in program history.
Coach Jackson is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He earned a master's degree in criminal justice administration from Bethune-Cookman University.
