Johnson's Journal
  • Enters his first year as an assistant men's basketball coach with a focus in player development, implementing offensive and defensive schemes, along with game preparation.
  • Assisted the Seahawks to a 21-10 overall record and a Sun Conference Tournament Championship in the 2020-2021 season.
  • Aided in the Seahawks in going 1-1 at the NAIA National tournament, defeating No.15 Georgetown.
  • Aided in the development of NAIA All-American and the 2021 Sun Conference Tournament MVP, CoreVon Lott.
  • Assisted with 3 All-Conference players.
  • Off the court assisted in the team earning a 3.0 team GPA and the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.
  • Apart of 4 wins against NAIA Top 25 teams.
Prior to Keiser
Johnson served as the Head Coach of his alma mater, Booker High School in his hometown of North Sarasota, Florida for one season. He was the youngest head basketball coach hired in school history. Before that, he served as a graduate assistant on the Keiser men's basketball staff in 2020-21.

Playing Career
As a senior at Booker, he averaged 23.2 points per game and led the county in scoring. Johnson then went on to play at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi, a top 25 Junior College program where he averaged 10.6pts per game. He then finished his playing career at Division 2 Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee where he served as the team captain for two years and averaged 9.2pts per game his senior year.

Johnson graduated from Lane College in 2020 with his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology.
