Alessandro Cantillo enters his fourth year at Keiser and his second as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He spent two years as a graduate assistant with strength and conditioning before accepting a full-time role.
Cantillo was a six-year member of the Keiser Seahawks football team, playing on the defensive line. As a junior, he was named All-Conference. Off the field, he is a four-time NAIA Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Conference honoree.
Cantillo interned this past summer with the defending national champion, Georgia Bulldogs. During his time in Athens under Coach Scott Sinclair as a Football Strength and Conditioning Intern, he assisted directly with the Strength and Conditioning staff in implementing UGA's summer program. Cantillo also provided extra support to the athletes with duties carried out by the entire strength and conditioning staff.
Cantillo earned his master's degree in exercise science and sport performance from Keiser University.
