Teddy Nowell

Teddy Nowell is in second year as an assistant baseball coach of the Seahawks baseball team. Nowell had previously been at Northwood University Texas for the last two years.

Nowell began his coaching career as a student assistant at Northwood Texas before being named a graduate assistant, overseeing the pitching staff for varsity and the JV head coach.

He was a two time All-State pitcher in high school before signing with Oklahoma University, but decided to attend Navarro College. In his freshmen season, Nowell was an All-Conference pitcher and also saw playing time at first base. During his sophomore season, he was named Conference Pitcher of the Year, while finishing ninth in the country in ERA.

Teddy then transferred to TCU for his junior year before moving on to Northwood Texas, where he was a second team All-Conference Pitcher. After his college, Nowelll played one year of independent baseball for the Grand Prairie Airhots. He made three starts finishing with a record of 1-0.

Nowell is married to Keiser softball coach Chelsea Nowell, and have a daughter Kaydn.
