  • Katz is entering his third season as an Assistant Coach for the Seahawks varsity team

  • Assisted with nine All-Conference players including four this past seasons
  • Helped the Seahawks to a 70-40 record in two seasons including a trip to regionals and back-to-back conference tournament appearances

Pre-Keiser
Prior to arriving at Keiser, Katz spent two seasons at Trinity International as a Graduate Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator. He also handled the pitching staff and coordination of all camps. He also assisted in the development of two All-CCAC First Team selections and one NCCAA All-North Central Region pitcher.
 
Playing Career
Katz played three seasons at Bemidji State (Minn.) University, making 24 appearances on the mound. A two-time NSIC Academic All-Conference member, Katz was also a member of the 2013 squad that finished as the NSIC Tournament runner-up.

Katz spent six seasons as a Head Coach and Pitching/Velocity Development Coordinator for the Northern Knights travel baseball program. In addition, he was the Director of the collegiate team in the Chicago Metro Collegiate League. Katz also spent one summer as a Scouting Intern, assisting the Midwest Area Scout for the Texas Rangers.

Personal
Katz graduated cum laude from Bemidji State, with a BA in Sport Management, and won the 2014-15 Outstanding Sport Management major award. Katz then earned his MA in Leadership from Trinity International University in 2017. Katz resides in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with his wife Rebecca.
