Hayden Pewitt enters his second year as Assistant Coach for baseball at Keiser University.
Pewitt will serve as an assistant coach with a focus in player development. Prior to Keiser, Pewitt was the volunteer assistant coach at the University of North Carolina Ashville where he worked with catchers and assisted with hitters. While at the University of North Carolina Ashville they finished third in the Big South in regular season which was the best in school history. He was also an assistant coach in the Cape Cod league for the Harwich Mariners in the Summer of 2022.
From June 2018-December 2019 he was the head coach for Badlands Big Sticks in the Expedition Collegiate Summer League in North Dakota. He won EL Coach of the Year in 2019.
Pewitt graduated from Middle Tennesse State University in 2017 with a B.A in Leisure, Sport and Tourism Studies. After he went on to Tusculum University where he was an graduate assistant that worked with catchers and outfielders and completed his M.A in Human Resources and Human Development in 2019.
He resides in West Palm Beach, Fla. with his wife Jamie.
