The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the 2026 NAIA Men's Tennis All-America teams on Thursday afternoon. The No. 3-ranked Seahawks had two singles players and two doubles teams among the honorees.
Shaheed Alam and
Didrik Liljekvist both were named to the singles team while the duos of Liljekvist and
Matthew Dubas and Alam and
Heber Santos earned doubles honors.
The criteria for ITA All-American singles honors are finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA National Singles Rankings. All-American recognition is awarded to doubles teams who finish in the top 10 of the final ITA National Doubles Rankings.
Singles All-American
Shaheed Alam, Fourth Year, Singapore
- Collected First-Team All-America honors for the fourth consecutive season
- Named to the All-Sun Conference First Team
- Recorded a 19-3 overall record in singles play and a 22-4 mark in doubles
- In the spring, he was 11-2 on courts one and two in singles
Didrik Liljekvist, Fourth Year, Stockholm, Sweden
- Tabbed an NAIA First-Team All-American
- Collected All-Sun Conference First-Team honors for a third consecutive year
- Went 12-0 in singles play with a 7-0 mark against NAIA-ranked opponents
- Finished the year at No. 4 in the ITA Rankings
Doubles All-American
Didrik Liljekvist and Matthew Dubas
- The duo went 15-1 in the spring
- Collected SUN Doubles Team of the Year honors
- Posted a perfect 7-0 mark against ranked NAIA opponents
- Ended the year as the No. 5-ranked doubles team in the NAIA
Shaheed Alam and Heber Santos
- The pair posted a 22-2 record overall while going 14-1 in the spring
- Finished as runners-up at the ITA Cup in the Fall
- Part of a doubles lineup that won the doubles point in 18 straight matches to close the year
- Ranked No. 6 in the final ITA poll
