When asked about today's result, Head Coach
Daniel Finn had this to say: "I thought we played pretty well overall today. It had been a couple of weeks since our last match, so naturally there was a little rust to shake off early, but the girls were excited to get back out and compete. I thought we did a really good job controlling the tempo of the match and playing on our terms throughout the day. Doubles was solid for the most part, and in singles we did a good job of dictating play and sticking to our style on each court, which the score reflected. In tournament play, getting on and off the court efficiently is always important, and we were happy with how we handled that today. Now it's about getting back to the hotel, recovering, and getting ready for tomorrow."
On reaching 500 career wins: "Honestly, I don't even know what to say. It's a tremendous honor to reach a milestone like this, but achievements like this don't happen without the players who trusted me and chose to be a part of this program, along with the incredible coaches I've had the opportunity to work with over the years. More than anything, this milestone is a testament to them and everything they've poured into the program. I also want to thank the real hero behind the scenes, my wife, Roxanne. I've been fortunate enough in my career to experience some special moments, records, and milestones, but none of it would be possible without her unwavering support and sacrifice that most people never get to see."
Keiser moves on to the NAIA Quarterfinals where they will face No. 13 Cumberlands on Thursday afternoon. First serve from the Mobile Tennis Center is set for 1:00 p.m. CT
