The Sun Conference announced its award winners for the 2026 softball season. Keiser's Kaci Kidd was named the Freshman of the Year in the Sun Conference.

Kaci Kidd, First Year, Apopka, Fla.

• Named Sun Conference Freshman of the Year
• Becomes the first Freshman of the Year in program history
• Named First Team All-SUN Conference in her debut season
• Played in all 47 games, starting each one
• Batted .350 for the season with 56 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, and two home runs
• Drove in 30 runs and scored 41 times across the full season
• Drew 10 walks while striking out just 11 times in 160 at-bats
• Hit .346 in conference play with 27 hits, 25 runs scored, and eight stolen bases in eight attempts across 24 conference games
• Finished the season with 11 stolen bases and a .392 on-base percentage
