No. 1 Men's Golf Hosts the 2026 Sun Conference Tournament

The No. 1-ranked Keiser men's golf team hosts the 2026 Sun Conference Tournament April 19-21. The three-round, three-day event will be held at the Fountains Country Club (Par 71, 6,771 yards). The eight-team field will be include five teams represented in the latest NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
 
Last time out, the Seahawks captured the team title with a at the Music City Classic with a  three-round total of 833 (-31). Keiser led the field from start to finish, posting rounds of 275, 279, and 279 to secure a six-stroke victory. 

Keiser set the tone early with an impressive opening round of 275 (-13) and maintained its advantage with back-to-back rounds of 279, showcasing consistency and depth throughout the lineup.

Individually, Iver Sokhan-Sanj led the charge with a remarkable tournament, claiming medalist honors at 201 (-15). He fired rounds of 69, 63, and 69, with his second-round 63 standing out as one of the lowest rounds of the event. It was the lowest round in school history. 

Jack Peters added another top finish for the Seahawks, tying for third at 205 (-11). Peters was steady across all three rounds, carding scores of 67, 70, and 68 to give Keiser a strong presence near the top of the leaderboard.

Yann Ferrando continued the team's success with a tie for 19th at 213 (-3), while Matus Cedzo contributed a tie for 22nd finish at 214 (-2), helping round out the Seahawks' scoring.

Achilleas Lazaridis completed the lineup, finishing tied for 74th at 225 (+9).

Claiming his third individual title of the season, Sokhan-Sanj posted the school record for low round, shooting a 9-under, 63, in round two of the Music City Classic last week. The native of Lorenskog, Norway, has an adjusted stroke average of 70.3 and ranks No. 11 in the nation (clippd)

2. Jack Peters - Fr. / Ballyclare, Northern Ireland
Peters posted third top-5 finish of the season, placing tied for third at the Music City Classic (April 14). He enters this week's action with an adjusted scoring average of 70.6 and is ranked No. 15 in the nation (clippd)
 

3. Yann Ferrando - Jr. / Biscarose, France
Ferrando opened the season with six consecutive top-5 finishes. He has posted an adjusted scoring average of 69.5 and is ranked No. 5 in the nation (clippd)
 

4. Matus Cedzo - Fr. / Prague, Czech Republic
Cedzo enters this week's action with one tournament win on the year (Seahawk Shootout – Sept 16). The first-year Seahawk has tallied an adjusted scoring average of 71.3 and is currently ranked No. 27 in the nation (clippd)

5. Achilleas Lazaridis - Jr. / Limassol, Cyprus
Lazaridis will be making his sixth appearance of the season for the Seahawks. He enters the week with an adjusted scoring average of 73.8

Conti  has made six appearances for the Seahawks this season. He enters the week with an adjusted scoring average of 73.6
